Ancon opens manufacturing operations in North Island, New Zealand
Ancon is expanding its New Zealand operations with the opening of a new site in Auckland. The new North Island facility, together with our existing operations and Christchurch office on the South Island, will service increasing demand for the company’s engineered fixings, reinforcing couplers, concrete lifting and masonry repair systems.
The new 810sqm Ancon facility will officially open on 1st August at 246D James Fletcher Drive in the industrial Auckland suburb of Otahuhu.
Philip Hayman, Ancon’s New Zealand General Manager, said,
“These are exciting times for Ancon. The size and location of the Auckland site will enhance the service we offer to customers nationwide and will allow us to respond effectively to further increases in demand for our industry compliant products.”
Jon Bond, Ancon’s ANZ Managing Director said,
“Establishing a manufacturing and sales base in Auckland to service the North Island and to complement our facility in Christchurch in the South will mean we are better equipped to meet future market growth and challenging project requirements.”
The Auckland site will feature a BT threading and coupling production line and hold finished stock of all Ancon’s products, including the comprehensive range of Helifix and Unicon products supplied to the masonry repair and precast concrete sectors.
